Dan Jamati, PGA Professional

Dan Jamati has been a golf coach for more than 25 years and is a member in good standing of the PGA of America.  His tremendous passion for the game and great understanding of people has allowed him to create a fun and relaxed learning environment for his students.

Dan was Director of Instruction for the Palo Alto Golf Course for 8 years, where he developed teaching programs and clinics for golfers of every age and experience level. As a Palo Alto native, he is strongly committed to supporting the local adult and youth programs.

Dan’s desire to grow his understanding of the game has led him to various PGA seminars where he has been able to learn from, and develop personal relationships with top coaches and influencers in the game.  However, Dan finds that his most invaluable education still comes from the hands-on coaching of students of all skill levels and ages.

Dan’s philosophy is to bring out the Natural swing which he believes exists in every golfer.  Together with each student a fun and  safe learning environment is created to build awareness in vital areas of the golf swing. The ultimate goal in each lesson is that the student builds their own awareness, leading to self learning, self trust, and leaves with a better ability to coach themselves.

John, an East Bay native, has been active in the golf industry for over 35 years in the Bay Area. During that time, he has worked as a Club Professional, Teaching Professional, Golf Equipment Retail Store Director, and Expert Clubfitter.
A 1983 graduate of the San Diego Golf Academy, he holds an Associate Degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management while earning a Players Credential. His instructional
